Using the Jira Copy Project Plugin

  1. Log in to Jira as an Administrator (any user with the System Admin permission).
  2. Click the "Projects" menu and then "Copy Project". Jira Copy Project Plugin Menu Option
  3. Fill out the form with your new project name, project key, and the existing project to copy. Jira Copy Project Plugin Wizard
  4. Click the "Copy" button. Copying your project may take a few moments.
  5. You will be redirected to your newly created project.
